Emergency Management – Controlling Emergencies and Critical Situations

Training is designed for personnel with experience of working in Central Control Rooms of industrial plants. The course aims to enhance the competence of participants in the control in the management of emergencies.

For the purposes of the simulation of emergency situations we use a proprietary computer program that faithfully reflects similar systems used in industry standard Distributed Control Systems - DCS.

The duration of the training is discussed and agreed directly with the customer and adapted to client preferences.

Courses are usually divided into 20% theory and, 80% practical content.

Each trainee will receive a certificate attesting to successful completion of the course, and depending on the customer requirements a formal examination can be set to confirm knowledge and skills attained.

Training can be conducted both in Polish and English.

The course includes the following elements:

  • Crisis Management - the roles and responsibilities of the Control Room Operator
  • The ability to act under pressure in situations of escalating danger to personnel and process equipment
  • Ability to communicate under pressure
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Assertiveness, capacity for problem solving and rational thinking
